Hannah Fletcher works with and researches the many intricate relationships between photographic and not-so photographic materials. Intertwining organic matter such as soils, algae, mushrooms and roots into photographic mediums and surfaces. Fletcher questions the life cycle and value of materials by incorporating waste from her studio and workshops back into the system of making. Working in an investigative, ritualistic and environmentally conscious manner, she combines scientific techniques with photographic processes, creating dialogue and fusions between the poetic and political. In 2019, she set up The Sustainable Darkroom; an artist run research, training and mutual learning programme to equip cultural practitioners with new skills and knowledge to develop a more environmentally friendly analogue photography practice.

Shalva Amos is an advanced practitioner and international educator in holistic and mental-emotional healing. She has spent more than two decades expanding far beyond traditional frameworks, integrating Quantum Healing, Shamanic methodologies, Energy Medicine, Kinesiology, Cranio-sacral work, Bio-Energy, Taoist internal alchem and somatic–emotional integration practices. Born in France and based in Indonesia since 2003, her path has taken her across the world to study with masters, lineage holders and clinical practitioners in multiple healing traditions.

A leading landscape architect and horticulturalist, Marian Boswall specialises in historic landscapes. She is the co-founder of the Sustainable Landscape Foundation, and has just published her book ‘Sustainable Garden’. Her design practice, Marian Boswall Landscape Architects, focuses on regenerative sites with long term sustainability and connectivity at their core. Her projects invest in the land for the long term, such as the Charleston centenary project here, and sculptural installations in a heritage landscape at the Watts Gallery. Wellness is deeply embedded in her ethos, and in early 2020, she gave a TedX talk on how our gardens can care for us and the earth.

Tjok Gde Kerthyasa is a homeopath, health scientist, alchemical explorer and the creator of the Pranafas therapeutic healing method. He holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Homeopathy) from the University of New England, and an Advanced Diploma of Homeopathy from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies, Sydney. Tjok Gde is well known throughout Indonesia for his pioneering television show about natural medicine. Through his clinical work and the Tirta Usada products and remedies, Tjok Gde hopes to facilitate self healing on a holistic level. Homeopathy aside, Tjok Gde is also a tea master and a certified Buteyko Breating Method Trainer.

Toni is an artist, consultant, mentor and facilitator working across multiple disciplines. London born and Devon based, she has been working at the intersection of social, ecological and culture change for 25 years. She creates spaces where grit, grief, messiness, and laughter are welcome and where new kinds of wisdom and power can emerge.

Some of Toni’s recent work includes: Radical Ecological Pedagogies (From the Roots Up) with ULEX and facilitating for Mycelium Group. She is a curator at The Emergence Network, leading on Vulture: Courting the Otherwise in a Time of Breakdown and is a tutor and mentor on Call of the Wild and professional trainings with WildWise.

Emilio Mula is… Moedular. Emilio is a multidiciplinary artist based in UK. He explores the  intersections betwen art, ecology, science and living beings through Children of Compost, a collaborative project cultivating partnerships among artists and scientists to create art experiences:

In our creative explorations we seek to amplify the voice of natural phenomena, the voice of everything that interacts with us–constantly, invisibly, without our awareness; tides, humidity, magnetic fields, photosynthesis, biogeochemical pathways. We translate these forces into images, real-time audiovisual installations and interactive experiences. We do this in order to call attention to the fact that it is time for us all to engage in a more intimate dialogue about these complex interrelationships... the forces that do actually govern our lives.

Kara is a tracker and facilitator with a passion for radical, decolonial approaches to tracking, ancestral skills and land regeneration. As an educator, Kara devised ‘Radical Nature Connection’ as an approach and co-holds this strand of work at the Ulex Project in Catalonia. Kara delivers courses and lectures on Masters degrees on radical approaches to nature connection, rewilding and ancestral skills (with a focus on tracking, foraging and trees) at the Centre for Alternative Technology, Schumacher College and independently. She spends the Winter months working in conservation forestry, restoring ancient woodlands and is part of a team that runs the 350-acre Cambrian Wildwood project, which is restoring wild habitats and creating access to immersion in wild nature for marginalised groups in the Cambrian foothills of Mid-West Wales.

‘I have spent a lot of time communing and listening to the land while I have undertaken vision quests, wandered in the woods, sat with the first nations senior lore women of Australia, and experienced rites of passage work through different lineages around the world. These experiences have greatly informed and inspired the stories that I write and share and my desire to be of service with them.’ Samantha has been a professional storyteller, guiding transformational journeys and holding ceremonial space using story, ritual, and creative expression for over 10 years. She is currently working as Professional Storyteller, a Transpersonal Art Therapist and as a Ceremonial Guide.

MoYah is also an award winning interfaith arts programmer who often curates projects for refugees and asylum seekers as well as a variety of social action and artistic events to disintegrate stereotypes & encourage more community cohesion between different faiths.

 Recently he received the 21 for 21 award, recognising him as one of the most inspiring faith based leaders who is increasing dialogue and breaking down barriers in the 21st century.

In 2008 MoYah founded the 1st Muslim/ Jewish Hip Hop Duo in the UK called ‘ Lines of Faith’ delivering performances and workshops to challenge prejudice, and build meaningful bonds between communities.

As an enactment of repair, I turn towards the landscape to give the tender and fragmented pieces of myself the emotional freedom to dance. I land, listen, flow, bond, morph and expand; reclaiming my body from the systems and stories of control that have separated her from nature. I trust that whatever vital emerges in me is a gossamer cord weaving me intra the universal moving consciousness. I share my discoveries through the mediums of performance, social practice, collage, and writing. In my socially engaged work, I foster integrative embodied resilience for trauma through movement education, community ritual, & performance work. My personal experimental practice and research is what supports my capacity to work publically and socially in this way which I have been doing in one form or another since 2004.

Music has always been a big part of my life, as I grew up in a family of musicians so I spent my life writing songs and discovering different instruments and genres.

My journey into permaculture began around 8 years ago, when I volunteered in projects in Thailand and Malaysia.

Before stepping into teaching permaculture, I spent some years teaching English, which gave me a strong foundation in facilitation and communication. 

​Now I get to weave my three great loves together - music, ecology and education.

Rima Staines is an artist whose work straddles myth, magical realism and the folk arts. She has worked over the years predominantly as a painter, but also with music, writing, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, theatre, puppetry, animation and book arts.

“My belief in the power of art to change things runs deep, and thus my work is very much simultaneously alchemy and activism. I am fascinated by how talismanic, apotropaic imagery has been used throughout human history to make real magic, and it is in that realm that I work. Myth and story, of course, are vital threads in my work - they speak truth to us in a similar non-linear language to that which imagery speaks, we need them more than we think we do because inside them are old maps back home.”

There is something interesting and unique that originates in a person who is able to bring the two distinct worlds of the creative heart with the rigours of the scientific mind together into a single comprehensive problem-solving offering. And when this is in service of the environment and the wellbeing of mankind on this beautiful planet, we can be sure the messages and approach will be unique, and that succinctly describes the approach and innovative programmes originated by Noel.
